Overview PV load

With this function block, consumers can be switched on and off depending on the PV surplus.

Inputs

BA
Operating mode
Operating mode:

  • 0=Automatic
  • 1=On
  • 2=Off

PU
Surplus*
PV surplus. Whether surplus is positive or negative can be set via the parameter Type surplus.
FG
Enable
Optional enable. If input is 1, control is enabled. This input can be used to switch the control on and off in automatic mode without having to change the operating mode.

If the input is not connected, the control is always enabled.

Whether the enable is also effective in operating mode on is defined with the parameter Type enable.

Outputs

A1-AX

Outputs for load

Parameters

Type surplus
  • Surplus positive: a positive value at the input means surplus.
  • Surplus negative: a negative value at the input means surplus.
Minimum surplus
Minimum surplus that must at least be present for the control to begin.

A stage is switched on when the surplus reaches at least the consumption of the stage plus the minimum surplus. It is switched off as soon as the surplus falls below the minimum surplus.
Time on
Time in seconds during which the switch-on condition must be met without interruption before the next stage is switched on.

Minimum 1 second.
Time off
Time in seconds during which the switch-off condition must be met without interruption before the highest active stage is switched off.

Minimum 1 second. If the parameter is not changed, the time for switching on applies.
Type enable
Defines in which operating modes the enable input is effective.

  • Automatic: the enable is only effective in operating mode automatic. In operating mode on, all outputs stay switched on.
  • Automatic+permanent on: the enable is additionally effective in operating mode on. If the enable is 0, the outputs are also switched off in operating mode on.
Consumer
Here a consumption value can be specified for each consumer (stage). The stage is switched on when the surplus exceeds this value.

The stages are switched on strictly in their order: first stage 1, then stage 2 and so on. If the surplus is not sufficient for one stage, none of the following stages are switched on either - not even if a later stage has a lower consumption. Switching off is done in reverse order, starting with the last active stage.
Number of outputs
Number of outputs. The value results from the number of stages created in the parameter Consumer and is not entered directly.
